The Provincial Civil Service Officers Association has alleged for posting political and bureaucratic references for the vacancies of administrative secretaries and deputy commissioners in KPK.
Fahad Ikram Qazi, PCS coordinator, wrote a letter to the chief secretary, complaining that there was a disparity in transfers and postings, due to which officers from the Pakistan Administrative Service, DMG Group, who posted as deputy commissioners to divisional headquarters, are inexperienced.
He insisted that senior PCS officers were underutilized.
According to him;
“More than 200 seats are lying vacant in the share of PAS in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and thus, affecting service delivery.”
Mr Qazi requested the chief secretary to direct the law, advocate general, and home and establishment departments to hire capable yet rightful and deserving candidates and strictly supervise their respective cases and behavior.
